What does “biomimetic” mean?
Biomimetic skincare respects the skin barrier, lipid structure, hydration mechanisms, and tolerance limits. Our routines prioritise balance, comfort, and long-term skin health over quick, aggressive fixes.
Are your products medicines or treatments?
No. All 24 Skin Bank products are cosmetic formulations. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.
Are results guaranteed?
No skincare product can guarantee identical results for everyone. Skin response varies depending on skin type, environment, past routines, and consistency of use.
Are your products suitable for Indian weather and pollution?
Yes. Our formulations and routines are designed with hot, humid, polluted urban environments in mind.
GETTING STARTED & ROUTINE
I’m new—where should I start?
If you want a complete routine, start with The Core Trio (RESET + RE:FRESH + RE:CALM).
If congestion or blackheads are your primary concern, you may start with RESET and add RE:CALM.
What is the simplest routine?
AM:

Do I need all products every day?
No. Our routines are designed to be adaptive, not rigid. Overuse can be counterproductive for some skin types.
RESET (Deep Cleansing Oil)
What is RESET?
RESET is a biomimetic cleansing oil designed to dissolve surface buildup such as excess sebum, pollution, and sunscreen residue while minimising barrier disruption.
Is RESET a makeup remover?
It can dissolve makeup and sunscreen, but it is primarily designed as a deep cleansing ritual, not a standard makeup remover.
Will oil cleansing clog pores?
No product can be universally labelled non-comedogenic. When used correctly—gentle massage, appropriate frequency, thorough rinsing—oil cleansing is well tolerated by many skin types. Individual responses may vary.
Is RESET suitable for oily or acne-prone skin?
Many oily-skin users tolerate oil cleansing well because oils dissolve oils. However, frequency and technique matter. Start slowly and adjust based on comfort.
Can I massage RESET on active acne?
No. We do not recommend massaging inflamed or tender acne lesions, as massage can aggravate inflammation. Apply around active areas and rinse gently.
How long should I massage?
Typically 1–4 minutes, very gently. Sensitive skin should start with 60–90 seconds.
Do I need a face wash after RESET?
Yes. RESET is designed as the first step of cleansing. It should be followed with a gentle face wash to ensure thorough removal of loosened impurities and oil residue.
RE:FRESH is suitable for daily use after RESET.
If your skin is extremely dry or sensitive, you may reduce cleanser quantity or massage time, but cleansing after RESET is recommended for optimal skin hygiene and comfort.
RE:FRESH (Soap free, Gentle Cleanser)
What is RE:FRESH?
RE:FRESH is a gentle, zero-stripping cleanser formulated to cleanse effectively while supporting skin comfort and barrier integrity.
How often should I use RE:FRESH?
Daily usage after RESET in the evening is must. Morning usage depends on skin type, sunscreen usage, and climate.
My skin feels tight after cleansing—what should I do?
Tightness often indicates over-cleansing. Reduce frequency, use lukewarm water, and apply RE:CALM immediately after cleansing in the mornings.
Does RE:FRESH contain exfoliating acids?
No. RE:FRESH does not rely on exfoliating acids for cleansing.
RE:CALM (Barrier-Supporting Moisturiser)
What is RE:CALM?
RE:CALM is a biomimetic moisturiser designed to support barrier comfort, hydration balance, and reduced skin reactivity.
Is RE:CALM suitable for oily or acne-prone skin?
Yes, it's absolutely suitable for oily/acne-prone skin.
Why is RE:CALM white and not a cosmetic colour?
We prioritise formulation integrity, stability, and skin tolerance over artificial colouring. Natural variation between batches may occur without affecting performance.
Can RE:CALM replace a serum?
For many users, yes—especially those who prefer fewer steps. If you use actives, apply them first and use RE:CALM as your moisturising step.
My skin stings when I apply RE:CALM—why?
Stinging can occur when the skin barrier is compromised due to over-exfoliation or active overuse. Reduce actives, simplify your routine, and patch test. Discontinue use if irritation persists. Though we have never faced that concern.
RE:ROOT (Scalp Oil)
What is RE:ROOT?
RE:ROOT is a scalp oil ritual formulated to support scalp comfort and a healthy scalp environment. It is not a medical treatment for hair loss.
Does RE:ROOT promote hair growth?
RE:ROOT supports scalp health, which may contribute to overall hair quality. It is not intended to treat genetic/medical hair-loss conditions.
How often should I use RE:ROOT?
Typically 1–3× per week, depending on scalp type.
How long should I leave it on?
Commonly 1–2 hours. Overnight use depends on individual scalp tolerance.
Can I use RE:ROOT if I have dandruff?
Yes. It is formulated to calm your scalp and counter signs of dandruff and sensitive scalp.
SENSITIVITY, ACTIVES & SPECIAL CONDITIONS
Can I use these products with retinol, acids, or vitamin C?
Yes, but simplify your routine. Strong actives can increase sensitivity. Reduce cleansing intensity and monitor barrier comfort.
Are these products suitable for eczema, rosacea, or dermatitis?
These are medical conditions. We cannot provide treatment advice. If you have a diagnosed condition, consult your clinician and patch test before use.
Are your products pregnancy-safe?
Yes.
PATCH TESTING & REACTIONS
How do I patch test?
Apply a small amount behind the ear or along the jawline once daily for 2–3 days. Discontinue if irritation occurs.
What should I do if my skin reacts?
Stop use, rinse with water, simplify your routine, and contact us with product details and photos (if possible).
SHIPPING, PREORDERS & DISPATCH
What does “Ships in 24 hours” mean?
It means dispatch within 24 business hours, not delivery within 24 hours. Delivery timelines depend on courier and location.
Why did my items arrive separately?
Some products are produced in small batches or are on preorder. Orders may be shipped separately to maintain quality and freshness.
What are preorder timelines?
Preorder items typically begin shipping approximately 22 days after the preorder announcement date, unless stated otherwise on the product page.
DAMAGE, RETURNS & REFUNDS
My product arrived damaged—what should I do?
Contact us within 24 hours of delivery with your order ID and clear photos or video of the product, outer packaging, and shipping label.
Do you accept returns of used products?
For hygiene and safety reasons, used products are not eligible for return unless there is verified transit damage or a dispatch error.
